Science Educator Receives Prestigious Honor
3/5/08 (7:27 p.m.) A life-long commitment to furthering science education in grades K-12 has earned Fayette County’s science coordinator one of the most prestigious state awards. The Georgia Science Teachers Association (GSTA) has awarded Sharon Boyer the Dallas Stewart Award in recognition of the significant contributions she has made to science education. The award is presented by GSTA only when merited and is given to individuals who have shown a long-term dedication to science education and GSTA.
