Ansel Adams Photographs for Auction
The High Museum Atlanta Wine Auction will offer 6 vintage photographs for bid – 4 by Ansel Adams and 2 by Pirkle Jones – from The Story of a Winery series during several events throughout Auction weekend (March 26 – 29, 2008). The exhibition, including these photos, is on view through April 14, 2008, at Arnall Golden Gregory LLP located at 171 17th Street NW, Suite 2100, in Atlantic Station.

Governor Perdue Recognizes 9-1-1 Professionals, Young Heroes
Governor Sonny Perdue recognized 9-1-1 professionals and 13 young 9-1-1 heroes from around the state today, proclaiming “9-1-1 Day in Georgia.” The annual ceremony, held in the State Capitol, acknowledges the dedication and commitment of approximately 2,500 professionals who operate local and regional 9-1-1 centers throughout Georgia.

Flavor of Georgia rounds out second year with a beefy winner
Will Harris’s cowboy hat stands out in a room full of bareheaded people. His grass-fed beef stands out, too. The judges took a few juicy bites of his rib eye recipe and awarded him overall winner of the second annual Flavor of Georgia food products contest.
