Clayton State University’s First ROTC Scholarship Awarded
Clayton State University recently welcomed Col. Chuck Waggoner, ROTC Eastern commander, and the new Clayton State University cadre, with a reception that also recognized the awarding of the University’s first ROTC scholarship.

Atlanta Police will begin to re-open the following streets within the hour. Peachtree Street, however Ellis Street to Auburn will remain closed. Also International to Spring Street will remain closed.

Gunshots at Parties
On October 20, 2007 some students at one of our local highschools had a party. The parents were out of town. Several uninvitedteenagers from Clayton County crashed the party to confront one of theFayette students. As the Clayton County teens left in a pickup truckthey fired three shots into the air.
