NANCY REAGAN ENDORSES JOHN MCCAIN FOR PRESIDENT
Today in Los Angeles, Nancy Reagan endorsed John McCain for president. Mrs. Reagan released the following statement on her endorsement: "Although it has been my custom to wait until after the Republican National Convention to announce my support of a candidate, it is clear that the Party has chosen its nominee. So it is with great pleasure that I endorse Senator John McCain for President of the United States.

Starbucks Ordered to Pay More Than $100 Million in Back Tips
I found the story below rather thought provoking. Starbucks shift supervisors get a portion of the tips collected by the wait staff. One of their employees in California (where else) filed suit against the chain and won. The employee contended that the tips belonged to the person working for them and that Starbucks should pay Supervisors more.

Two in a row... Cops Find Man's Stolen Mustang 37 Years Later
Two interesting stories in a row! Have to share this one...Can you imagine having a stolen car turn up after 37 years? I saw the photo of the car and it looks like it's in great condition.

Atlanta Police will be re- opening Marietta Street within the next 30 mins. One eastbound lane will be open, and ALL WEST BOUND lanes will be open.

Skilled volunteers and supplies urgently needed to continue recovery efforts in parts of Atlanta
Skilled volunteers and supplies are still needed to continue the repair work to homes damaged during the March 14th tornado that tore through part of Atlanta.The Fuller Center for Housing of Greater Atlanta, Hands on Atlanta, and the Atlanta chapter of the National Association of The Remodeling Industry are continuing to repair a home at 1393 Glenwood Avenue that was damaged by the tornado. Construction on the roof frame to begin at 9 a.m. Thursday.
