Representative Matt Ramsey Crossover Week Update
Last week, the House has crossed the 30th day of our 40 day legislative session. This is the day that a bill must have passed at least one body in order to have a chance of becoming law. With some changes to the legislation that fell short last week the House of Representatives had a second opportunity to vote for the largest tax cut in Georgia’s history.

Kiela Pagsisihan Places 6th in State Spelling Bee!
3/20/08 (8:21 a.m.) Our Lady of Victory Catholic School eighth grader, Kiela Pagsisihan, advanced on to the GISA (Georgia Independent Schools) spelling bee and placed 6th in the state finals. Two hundred and fifty-four students participated in the GISA state spelling bee. The competition included a written test, with the top twenty students advancing on to the oral competition.

Make it measurable and actionable II
How do you know how well you are doing with your goal? You use your intermediate steps. You judge your progress by your in between goals. In the above example, if after the second week you lost 3 pounds, you know that you are behind. If you lost 5 pounds in 2 weeks, you are ahead of the game and maybe, your goal was too easy. These steps can help you determine how to set goals in the future.
