Keep PTC Beautiful Launches Website!
4/4/08 (10:22 p.m.) Keep PTC Beautiful, an organization dedicated to controlling litter and promoting beautification efforts, has launched their website! The effort is currently being supported by the Public Works department. As the group grows and works to gain status as an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, this website will provide links to other efforts in the City to help with litter prevention efforts. Angela Speir, PSC, to Speak to Fayette Republicans
Fayette County Republicans* are invited to join the local Republican Party for their regular First Saturday Breakfast at the International House of Pancakes, Fayetteville. Angela Speir will be the guest speaker Saturday, April 5th. Speir is the first woman elected to the Public Service Commission and the second Republican woman elected to a statewide office. In 2005 she became the first woman to chair the Commission. The meeting is open to the public. There is no charge to attend the meeting. Breakfast is optional and may be purchased from the menu (please arrive by 8:30 if you choose to order breakfast). Attire is casual. The meetings begins at 9 a.m. *It is not necessary to be a member of the Republican Party to attend.

ATLANTA AREA YOUTH COMPETE IN THE 8th ANNUAL YOUTH JAZZ BAND COMPETITION
The Atlanta Jazz Festival in partnership with Spelman College and Jazz 91.9 WCLK, presents the 8th Annual Youth Jazz Band Competition. Created to showcase young jazz talent from more than 400 youth from middle and high schools throughout the metro Atlanta area, the competition is a great vehicle for young enthusiasts to pursue and broaden their knowledge and understanding of jazz music.
