Ramblin' and Ravin' 'bout Celtic Thunder
I shared a bit about Celtic Thunder a month or so ago on our Music Matters blog, had to share with a few more readers just 'cause they are SO good. This mix of four Irish lads and one Scot wowed me when I first heard them on a PBS special. I had to watch it again a few days later, and of course, I went on a YouTube search to see if anyone had posted a concert or any music. Back then, the only thing available was the official intro to their new CD. Now YouTube is overrun with clips --- which shows how fast the word is spreading!...

With Confederate Memorial Day approaching, my next article will look into the early 1900s, showing our Confederate history was still an important part of our lives...We still celebrate and honor our Confederate ancestors with an annual Memorial Day service, which will be held Saturday, April 26, in the Heritage Park, downtown Fayetteville...

Panola Mountain State Conservation Park
Last Wednesday, I (along with my daughter and a photo club friend) visited Panola Mountain State Park. Since we have no current plans for photo club field shoots, I have been thinking about what is next, what is not too far away, and what is worthy of a visit. Panola Mountain is a nice place...
