40th Annual Old Courthouse Art Show 2008 in Fayetteville
4/18/08 (2:36 p.m.) The Courthouse Art Show is sponsored by the Fayette County Art Association. Saturday, May 17th (10am – 6pm) and Sunday, May 18 (11am – 5pm) at the Fayette County Courthouse Square, Hwy's 54 & 85, Fayetteville. Artists from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, North Carolina, Mississippi, South Carolina and Tennessee will showcase their art! Watercolor, oils, pottery, weaving, jewelry, glass, photography, woodworking, clay, metals. This year's Fayette County participants include: Annette Battaglia, Kathy Bruce, Janet McGregor Dunn, Gale Littleton, Barbara Ponzio, and Lisa Wootten. The school art tent will feature a 15 ft. mural for children to color! All proceeds from the Show benefit 5 Fayette County Senior Art Scholarships. Peachtree City Invitational Track Meet Saturday
Fifteen middle schools will converge on McIntosh High School tomorrow for the 22nd Annual Invitational Track Meet. The public is invited to watch! Tickets are $3 for adults, $2 for children; 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

I'm not Catholic Bill Maher, but I won't be watching your show ever again.In this particular case, I think Protestants should stand with Catholics in letting their displeasure at Maher's statements regarding the Pope and Catholics be known. I plan to do so and I'm going to, as a friend says, put some feet with my words. I'm ditching HBO unless they ditch Maher...
