Applications Being Accepted for PTC 101

Applications are being accepted through August 22 for the fall session of PTC 101, a class that provides an overview of how Peachtree City’s government and departments operate. This will be the third edition of the popular program, which launched in the fall of 2007.

The weekly class begins on Tuesday, September 9, and runs through Tuesday, October 14. The sessions will start at 6:30 p.m. and will last approximately two and one-half hours. A brief history of Georgia and Fayette County, as well as a look at the City’s 50-year history, kicks off the program. The classes will cover all of the departments that make up the City government, and the final session includes a question and answer session with Mayor Harold Logsdon and the City Council.

PTC 101 is free, but the class size is limited. Applications are available at City Hall or at www.peachtree-city.org.
