The Fayette County Branch NAACP is sponsoring a candidate’s forum on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at the Fayette County Library starting 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Candidates running in the July 15th primary for the office of Sheriff of Fayette County and District Attorney of the Griffin Judicial Circuit are invited to participate. Candidates will have the opportunity to greet constituents, present their platform and respond to questions and concerns from the voters. All citizens are encouraged to come and learn more about the candidates running for office before the dates of election.
