Mt. Olive Baptist Church Holds Special Dedication Service Sunday
Mt. Olive Baptist Church is having a special service on Sunday, May 4, 2008 at 3:00 PM to dedicate their new location. The Pastor at Mt. Olive is Reverend Melvin Ware. Reverend Ware extended an invitation to all those in the area who would like to join them for this joyous occasion. Mt. Olive is an active member of the Fellowship of Christian Churches and Friends and, as such, actively pursues unity within the local body of Christ.
The new location is
1565 Hwy 94 N.Fairburn, GA 30213 (just across the Fayette/Fulton County line.)
From Peachtree City and Tyrone, take GA Hwy 74 north to Milam Road which becomes Rivers Road. Turn left onto GA Hwy 92 N. Mt. Olive will be on your right as you proceed north.
From Fayetteville, take GA Hwy 85 to Forrest Avenue/GA Hwy 92. Turn north on Forrest Avenue/GA Hwy 92. MOBC will be about 7 miles on the right.

Yesterday I stepped out onto the deck to peep at the pond. I am on "tadpole watch." No tadpoles – yet. Every night I hear at least two – last night it sounded like three or four frogs 'singing' in the backyard. There was something yesterday – I am not sure what – I don't think it was a frog – it looked like a turtle! Do I have a turtle in the pond? Where did the turtle come from and how did it find my little pond? I did notice that the water level in the pond was very low...
